two pieces composed by Linsey Pollak. Moments of Optimism is in 18/8 and On Alert (which was written in a hotel room during a fire drill) and is in various time signatures. Both pieces feature the aluminium clarini (folk clarinet) designed and made by Linsey. On Alert features a great 10/8 drum solo played by Tunji Beier.
