about

This melody is from a traditional Macedonian folk song all about a Priest and his geese. It begins with the more traditional Macedonian folk instruments - gaida (Macedonian bagpipe) & tambura(s). Concert flute takes the place of the traditional end blown kaval and we've added a kanjira (Sth Indian frame drum) to the mix for the first section until the drums, electric bass, Rezouki (rezonated bouzouki), tenor and soprano saxes take over.
