about

Štipski Čoček (referring to the town of Štip in Eastern Macedonia) is a traditional Macedonian Romani style piece that Linsey learnt from Romani clarinet player Vefki Arslanovski (Perth in the early '80s). It opens with the Rezouki (rezonated bouzouki) designed and made by its player Anthony Pizzica.
